Welcome to NTBirds.Net

About the Website

While I intend to add more to the site in future, the current focus is on the Top End of the Northern Territory. This area is basically north of Warloch Ponds, west to the Western Australia border and east to the Gulf of Carpentaria. Click here for a map, climate details and some Top End landscape images.

Latest Additions

  • The Gallery Details page now allows you to see the birds that have been recorded in the NT but not yet represented in the Gallery. The page comes up with the list of birds for which we have photographs - just click the link at the top to see the list of missing birds.

  • The Bird List function is now using a database. You can generate a range of birdlists for different areas using a variety of criteria.
    Keep the lists for your own use but distribution is not permitted.

  • The images to the right are randomly generated from those in the image gallery. You can click them to see the full size image.

The images in the gallery are copyright of the photographers. Feel free to browse the collection. Contact me if you notice any errors. You are also invited to submit images you've taken of birds in the NT for inclusion in the gallery. Contact me for details.
